Between Heaven and Earth CSA on Facebook.

For $25/ week, Between Heaven and Earth Community Supported Agriculture provides boxes of the finest, freshest veggies (and some fruit) from local organic farms. The contents vary with seasonal availability, though always include salad greens, cooking greens, more "substantial" types of vegetables, at least one type of fruit (berries, plums, apples, figs... depending on the season) and a culinary herb—seven to ten different types of vegetables per box.

Recipes and an occasional newsletter are also included, to keep you posted on life at Marin Organic farms. In order to provide abundance and variety throughout the season, the produce comes from a collective of over eight Marin Organic farms: Mount Barnabe Farm, Fresh Run Farm, Paradise Valley Farm, Draper Farms and Star Route Farm to name a few!

  • Eat healthy and nutritious food

  • Support local sustainability

  • Support local farmers and economy

  • Reduce fossil fuel consumption (90% of fossil fuel consumption in agriculture is from fertilizers and pesticides, the other 10% from transportation) Go local and organic!

There are two possible pick-up locations in Fairfax and in Woodacre. The pick-ups will occur Friday late afternoon/early evening (exact times TBA). The season will be divided into six-week sections; the cost for six weeks will be $150. The first session begins June 17th and ends July 22nd. The season is likely to extend into December. Accommodations can be made for vacations with ten days' notice.

Community supported agriculture from Between Heaven and Earth is a wonderful way to be in touch with your local nectar and ambrosia, and to stay healthy with the seasons! The food is always amazingly vibrant and beautiful. For more information and/or to sign up, please contact Genevieve at (415) 250-8508.
