Located in the heart of the urbane Mission district in San Francisco, Foreign Cinema offers California-Mediterranean cuisine, inspired by the finest organic, seasonal produce, meat and fish available. The daily-changing menu reflects Chefs/Owners Gayle Pirie and John Clark’s deep-rooted commitment to using only the freshest ingredients available, with an emphasis on purity and flavor.

Foreign Cinema offers seating in a covered outdoor courtyard, indoors fireside and upstairs in a mezzanine overlooking the main dining room. Foreign classics or independent films are screened on the wall of the outdoor courtyard nightly at dusk. Every dining area offers an open space that feels clean and refined, and each candlelit room retains an unmatched aura of elegance and warmth that is always welcoming.
